Special functions

Flexijet 3D offers many special functions for particular applications.

Automatic series of measurement

Define starting point, direction and spot spacing. Flexijet measures automatically the form of the walls while you can pursue other tasks. The automatic series of measurement include the horizontal, vertical and along the series of measurement of arbitrary mapping. With the vertical series of measurement you can for example measure the hulls fully automatically. The horizontal series of measurement can be inserted to the calculation of a rolling wall form.

 

Initiating the points of construction

Let the arbitrary points out of the drawing be displayed by Flexijet. Click on a point of construction in CAD-System and Flexijet will show you the point on the wall or on the floor. In the sample image on the left, with this function a complex tiling pattern will be projected onto the floor.

Surface area scan

Draw or measure any arbitrary enclosed outline and overlay a hatching. With the ?surface area scan? command, all the intersections of the hatching will be automatically measured. The differing levels will be illustrated in terms of colors. Therefore you see already beforehand how bumpy the floor or the wall is (ideal e.g. for laminate and tile layers)

Spline explode example:

When digitalizing a sink cut-out, initially calibrate several points of the cut-out. Afterwards, overlay a Spline of the measured points so that the outline is flexible. With the use of the spline explode function; you can deconstruct the contour, so that the contour on the CNC can be perfectly manufactured. In doing so, the Spline is converted into line segments, tangential curves or into a combination of both.

3D scanning

Define a rectangle and the number of the points to be measured. Flexijet then will digitalize the whole area (approx. 2000 readings per hour) 

Transferring benchmarks

Calibrate an arbitrary level with Flexijet 3D. Then turn the device to the point in which the height measured afore should be displayed. At the push of a button Flexijet 3D initiates the measurement of the height.
