Installation and registration
After downloading, start the installer InstallFlexiCAD4.exe. The installer will guide you through the installation.
To use FlexiCAD4, a one-time registration is required:
After installation, start FlexiCAD4. In the “General settings” window for “Flexijet mode”, select the “FlexiCAD” option and confirm the window with “OK”
You will now be asked to enter a company key. Please select the option “Request Flexijet company key” and confirm the selection again with “OK”.
To obtain the company key, you will be asked for your personal data in the next step. Enter these and select “Send”
Your company key will now be sent immediately to the e-mail address you entered.
Restart FlexiCAD4 and click through to the request for the company key again. Now use the option “Flexijet company key available” in this window. Enter the new company key and confirm with “OK”.
If the entry is correct, the license manager opens. In the “Demo versions available” field in the middle of the license manager, select “FlexiCAD” and then click on the “Activate demo version” button.
The following two windows will inform you about the successful activation and the remaining trial period, confirm with “OK”.

Can I install FlexiCAD4 alongside another FlexiCAD version on a PC?
Yes, the FlexiCAD4 installer creates a separate “FlexiCAD4” folder next to your existing FlexiCAD version by default. This allows you to use both versions independently of each other.
Are there any functions known from FlexiCAD3 that have changed fundamentally?
No, FlexiCAD4 adds new functions to the existing ones. FlexiCAD4 offers you the option of a simple changeover with your familiar workflows.
Only the operation of the Flexijet Smart Remote App has been revised; it has been significantly enhanced with the option of selecting drawing commands and the operation of folders and layers.
